A bad rat experience

Even though this was last week...

My little sisters rats where in there ball and they got in a fight leaving alfred with a big belly wound about an inch long. I quickly cleaned it, and tried to bandage it but when your dealing with a rat that can get out of anything it does not really work :/ He is doing well now but I had to tell the girls that they could not hold him for a couple days, to give his wound time to close up by itself.

I know all of you have wanted me to post pics for a long time so here you are!!!

They are big, happy, chubby squirrels! and they just love there box, yesterday we gave Irene a 'special nut' and guess what she did with it? Well you would think she would run away from her brother and then eat it... but no, she ran right up to him, looked at him and pretty much said look what i have! and boy did they fight over that nut, they fought for about five mins! She kept chasing him and then running in her box to chew on it. I have never seen her win the battle over a nut but this time she was not letting go of that 'nut' and she ate that thing with pride!!
